The combination of careful restoration and modernization included new Chapel lighting, a new audio & visual system which broadcast the sermons in to the adjacent Care Center, stained glass window restoration, new translucent skylights, liturgical renovation to adapt to Vatican II Principles, and a complete remodeling of their basement hall and ancillary spaces.

The Care Center project included a complete renovation of a 2-story Care Center building that serves as a senior care center for up to 25 elderly Sisters.  Project features included seismic strengthening, complete room remodeling with restrooms, and new social and dining spaces.
Additionally, a new plaza garden courtyard with fountain was constructed to provide additional outdoor space for gatherings. 

Both projects were complete in early 2005 in time for the Easter festivities.
