Dan and Sheila Breeding Honored by San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce
Leadership Excellence Community Award given to area’s “Dynamic Duo”

SAN JOSE, CA 11/10/05,  Sheila Breeding, CFO & VP of Finance and Dan Breeding, co-founder, Vice Chairman & COO for TBI Construction & Construction Management, Inc., have been awarded the prestigious Leadership Excellence Community Award
by the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce.

During ceremonies held recently at the Chamber’s annual Legends and Leaders banquet, the Breedings joined the list of distinguished community leaders who’ve received the award since it began in 1996. Dan and Sheila were recognized by the 2,000 member organization for their active involvement in and contributions to a long list of charitable and service organizations over the years.

The Breedings have been active members and generous contributors to the American Cancer Society, YMCA, Cattle Baron’s Ball, the Lincoln Club of Northern California, the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, the California Society for Hospital Engineering-South Bay, American Musical Theater and Rotary Club of Downtown San Jose.  Dan Breeding is most proud of his involvement with the Knights of St. John-San Jose Order, which provides assistance to several local organizations and Chairman of Mt. Hermon Ministries. Dan is also serving his second year with Grand Prix San Jose helping to raise money for early cancer detection.

Between them, the Breedings boast membership and service in more than twenty different service organizations – and serve as board members of thirteen of those organizations. 

“We’re so involved with the community because when you start a business, you don’t take without giving something back,” says Sheila.  “Growing up, I never lived in one place long enough to get involved, so being part of the community now is very important and rewarding to me.”
